P. Diddy Believes Releasing the ‘Freak-Off’ Tapes Will Set Him Free

“Diddy will go to prison for life, people,” said Wendy Williams. “You don’t know things that I knew about Diddy back in the day... And you know what, it’s about time. It is about time. Diddy done.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs is pinning his hopes on a set of controversial tapes to clear his name. The music mogul, who faces serious charges including racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, is determined to prove his innocence and he believes the so-called "Freak-Off" videos hold the key.

In a recent court filing, P. Diddy’s legal team made it clear: they believe the nine videos referred to as the "Freak-Off" tapes will exonerate him. Combs’ attorneys argue the tapes are simply interactions between “fully consenting adults in a long-term relationship.”

The defense's argument hinges on the claim that the tapes demonstrate no criminal wrongdoing and should ultimately exonerate Puffy of the charges leveled against him. According to the legal team, these videos "confirm Mr. Combs' innocence," sharply contradicting the narrative put forth by prosecutors and the media.

In the filing, the defense stresses that the tapes revealed in connection with a wider criminal investigation were not discovered during last year's raids on P.Diddy’s properties. Instead, they were kept by “Victim-1” and voluntarily submitted to authorities as part of the ongoing probe.

“There are no secret cameras, no orgies, no other celebrities involved, no underground tunnels, no minors, and not so much as a hint of coercion or violence,” the filing reads.

In the eyes of Combs’ defense team, these tapes are the pivotal evidence that could set Combs free.

However, public opinion on Diddy’s case is divided. In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club former talk show host Wendy Williams weighed in on the matter.

Williams, known for her blunt opinions, boldly predicted that Combs would not avoid jail time.

“Diddy will go to prison for life, people,” she said. “You don’t know things that I knew about Diddy back in the day... And you know what, it’s about time. It is about time. Diddy done.”

Despite public opinion, P.Diddy’s team remains optimistic and hopes that the tapes will be the breakthrough they need to clear his name.

Combs’ is set to go to trial on May 5.
